This was initially shot with a lighting setup that takes its name from the famous Dutch painter Rembrandt. He was a master of the “chiaroscuro” technique which uses sharp contrasts between light and dark. After listening to Faith No More’s version of “Easy Like Sunday Morning” I was inspired to soften the flowers to convey that relaxed, sunny feeling.
