Caption: This was inspired by a beautiful bourbon cocktail with a dried orange slice garnish at The Bauer Kitchen in Waterloo, Ontario. I recreated the garnish at home with a lemon and loved how intricate and complicated the details were when looked at more closely; a life lesson right there in my kitchen.
